So much happens in just a few days. Between the prayers, the schedule, and everything happening around you, it's easy to feel a little lost—even if you've been before. Having someone to connect with helps you feel welcomed, supported, and that you truly belong.

Your mentor has real experience with this event, they've been here before, and they know what it's like to walk in for the first time, unsure of what's ahead. They're students who care, who remember what it felt like to be new, and who genuinely want to walk this path with you.

From the Moment You Arrive

Your Rosh Hashanah Begins the Moment You Walk In

When you have a mentor, skip the long registration check-in line through our dedicated Mentor & Mentee Express Line. Arrive, get your badge, and meet your mentor right away. From there, you'll walk in together to hear Eitan Yardeni's opening consciousness — seated side by side, ready to begin the new year connected from the very first moment.

How It Works

  • Request One: When you register for Rosh Hashanah, you will find a section that gives you the option to request a mentor.
  • Get Matched: You're paired with a mentor from your Centre before the event
  • Get Introduced: Your mentors will reach out to you a couple of weeks before the event.
  • Arrive Together: Meet at the event check-in Express Line and join the event together.

Do I need to be a first-time attendee to request a mentor?

No. A mentor is open to every attendee, whether this is your first Rosh Hashanah ever, with the Centre, or you've joined us before.

How will I be matched with a mentor?

We pair you with someone from your Centre before the event, taking into account language and other details you share when you request one.

What does a mentor actually do?

They're someone by your side to guide you throughout the event, answer questions, connect you with other students, and help you get the most out of these powerful days.

I already registered without requesting one — can I still ask for a mentor?
